What is DavisWARE?

 

DavisWARE Software started back in 1984 as one of the first Shareware companies on the market. Most of our programs are BBS (that's Bulletin Board System) related. We have the largest collection of New Age BBS door games on the market (A door game to all you laymen out there is a program that can be added to a BBS for people to play over the modem. They can range from simple games to full fledged applications). The one thing that makes our door games and programs unique from all the others is the fact that ANYONE can use our games. Even though they support bulletin boards, our programs can be run in a DOS window in Windows or directly in a DOS environment by anyone. No need for a modem or anything else if you care to play around with them. Our programs also support the PowerBASIC programming language. We have some of the best libraries available for this unique and powerful tool, and some even come with source code. This site has been under going some major changes as of late.
